Norways Kommunal Landspensjonskasse (KLP) defunds several companies related to DAPL
Thanks to Darlu Littledeer I got aware of this fact AND all the more important the LETTER in which KLP reasons their withdrawal.
Link to KLP's reasoning about their withdrawal
This is a 14 pages consideration of facts and law.
In this KLP clearly draws a line on how to act sensible and responsible.
I won't translate this as it is way to long (or I may, but this will take some time since I am working on the speech of the late Russel Means) so for my German readers please a) be patient or b) find some one who can read it to you in German.
The key passage, as Darlu already pointed out is:
"KLP has decided to exclude Energy Transfer Partners ("ETP"), Enbridge Energy Partners, Phillips 66 and Marathon Petroleum from investments by KLP and the KLP Mutual funds (‘KLP’) as of 13 March 2017 due to an unacceptable risk of contributing to serious or systematic human rights violations."
This, in my eyes, is the biggest success ever reached by #NoDAPL.
