Standing Rock am Hambacher Forst: Die rote Linie

Gestern am 19 Februar zogen  1200 Menschen eine 2 km lange Rote Linie als Grenze für den Braunkohle-Tagbau.

Ich war dabei!
Und Lena und Voenix und Patti und Hilde und Jeron.

Trotz unserer sehr kleinen Gruppe hat es viel Spass gemacht.

Rechts von der Matsch-Spur, die mal eine Autobahn war, nur noch plattes gerodetes Land, das nächstes Jahr schon zu einer 500 m tiefen Grube gehört.

Es war bewegend und anstrengend.

Unser Weg führte durch den Wald, zu einem Tümpel, der eine floristische Besonderheit in Europa darstellt, die dabei ist, für immer unterzugehen, weiter zu den Baumhütten der Aktivisten.
Da wir so viele waren, hat Michael Stolz nur bedingt eine echte Waldführung  im eigentlichen Sinne durchführen können.
Es war ziemlich heftig zu erleben, wie viel vom Forst schon weg ist.
800 Hektar sind noch übrig.

Die anwesende Polizei war klassische Demo-Begleitung.
Kein Stress, alle wirkten sehr aufgeschlossen.
Ich führte ein längeres Gespräch mit einer Oberkommissarin.

Voenix und ich haben heilend getrommelt und uns gegen die beklemmenden Eindrücke gestemmt.

Wichtiger Nachtrag:
Hilde, Jeron und Ydalir hatten Rufhörner bei, wir haben einen wirklich schönen Dreiklang hin bekommen und auch viele Zuhörer erreicht :) 

Nach dem Ende der Veranstaltung hat Voenix mit unsrer Unterstützung einem sehr lieben Mann geholfen, der durch einen brutalen Polizeiübergriff traumatisiert wurde. Wir hielten ein gut einstündiges, sehr emotionales Heil-Ritual ab.

Es waren auch Menschen aus den Niederlanden, Belgien und Dänemark dabei!

Aussichten:
In März und August geht es weiter.
Ich bin soweit es geht auch wieder dabei.
Ausserdem plane ich einen Trommelkreis im Abrissgebiet.

Standing Rock at Hambacher Forst

Yesterday, Feb. 19th 2017 a goodly 1200 people built a 2 km (1.24 miles) long Red Line as the border for company RWE, which currently destroys a 120000 year old forest of about 5000 ha.
Some 800 ha are left by now.

I have been there! together with Lena, Voenix, Patti, Hilde and Jeron.
Although we have been such a small group of 6 people it had been fun.
The weather was cold and wet, at about 17:00 it started to rain for good, but then the protest was over.

To the right of the mud road, which has been an motorway from Cologne to the to Aachen and further into the Netherlands, all that is left of the forest is just rotten land, like Isengard after the Orks marauded in Sarumans behalf, which will become a 500m (~1640 feet) deep pit in the very near future.
It was moving and stressful.

Our way lead through the woods, to a small pond, which flora is going to be extinguished although scientists say that this is rare throughout Europe.
This of course does not move company RWE off their greedy way.

The way led further to the sheds built in the trees by all the young activists, who live there and try to prevent the logging of the forest.

Since there have been so many people, Michael Stolz, the  organizer, only could do only a small portion of the guided tour through the woods.
It was very moving and stressful to see how much of the forest already has been cut down. Just 800 ha are left.

The police on the ground was classical protest escort, no riot gear, no aggression. No stress, everyone seemed to be very open.
I myself had a quite long conversation with one female officer.

Voenix and me did some drum healing rituals and worked against the unease, the situation forced from us.

After the protest ende, Voenix and some of us did a healing ritual for a guy who was PTSD'd by police brutality in last December.

There have been people from the Netherlands, Belgium and Danmark with the crowd.

It will go on in March and August and as long as it is necessary.
Whenever possible I will be part of it.

What you will see in the video

You will see pictures which are VERY similar to things happening at Standing Rock. Especially 10 minutes into the vid, the usage of batons and pepper spray against non acting people. Protestors or "Forest Protectors" which stay in the forest, who are supported by civil movement. You will see villages being destroyed, people are crying as their houses and churches are broken down, just like the trees, which  follow and are currently being cut down as I write!

The Story

In the area between Cologne and Aachen, near the town of Kerpen, is a lignite open pit mining (see References).

The mining is done by RWE (see References), an energy producing company.
As the mining proceeds since 1978, more and more surface vanishes, villages are forced to move, which makes people leave their homes, and valuable forest and landscape is annihilated.
Government does NOT stop lignite mining as it should be as agreed at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, 21st Conference of the Parties, COP 21 in Paris/France.
Instead police is supporting the mining company, raiding the forest camp, arresting poeple. Exactly the same situation as in standing rock!
Already a whole motorway A4 between Kerpen and Aachen was moved to accommodate the expansion of the mining pit, which itself went on the cost of surface nature and forests.
Although RWE claims that the annihilated nature can be rebuild, as anyone knows, rebuild a forest takes generations. The expansion endangers also people whose villages will not be moved, because the mining will end up VERY close to their houses, causing trauma by noise and dust and endangers them further due to possible landslides.

Protests have been going on since 2012 and earlier, but since we are ALL natives in Germany there is no much uproar, and most of Germany as FAT and STUFFED, a nation of couch potatoes, willing to accept the fakes, that the German Government is making what the call "politics". So there was no much media coverage and WDR3 aired this now as things are already proceeding.

The similarity between both gruesome events is rooted in the desecration of nature. In Standing Rock it is the water source which provides drinking water to 17 Million people (I still can not imagine how ETP/DA can simply blank out, what gruesome chances they are taking. Well they will not be held responsible for waht will happen in the next 10 - 20 years after the did their crime to nature), here in germany it is forest, which even as RWE claims to rebuild it, will never be rebuild since the pit will be there for many yaers to come and even IF rebuild it takes generations to grow.

Was ihr sehen werdet

Dieses Feature des WDR3 erinnert sehr stark an die Vorgänge in  Standing Rock/USA/North Dakota.
Dort geht es um eine Ölpipeline, die langfristig die Wasserverorgung von 17 Millionen Menschen gefährdet, hier um wertvollen Waldbestand, der auch durch wieder aufforsten, das ohnehin erst in mehreren zig Jahren vorgenommen werden kann, diese Tagebau-Gruben sind RIESIG, nicht wieder in seiner jetzigen Form erstehen können wird.
Es gibt Bilder von Polizisten die im Einsatz mit Schlagstöcken und Pfefferspray gegen still dastehende Menschen vorgehen, Bilder sehr ähnlich denen aus Standing Rock.
Es gibt Bilder von Menschen in Tränen, deren Häuser und Kirchen abgerissen werden, in einem Moment, so schnell wie die Bäume fallen, die gerade jetzt wo ich hier sitze und schreibe, gefällt werden!

Die Geschichte

In der Gegend zwischen Köln und Aachen, nahe Kerpen, befindet sich ein Braunkohle Tagebau (siehe Referenzen).
Die RWE Power AG (siehe Referenzen), ein deutschlandweit agierender Energieversorger, betreibt diesen Tagebau seit 1978.
Im Laufe der Zeit verschwindet immer mehr Landschaft und damit Natur, Wälder werden komplett vernichtet, Orte verschwinden von der Oberfläche, ganze Dörfer werden zwangsweise geräumt und umgesiedelt. Ein Teilstück der A4 zwichen Kerpen und Aachen wurde in den Jahren 2010 bis 2014 auf Kosten der Natur verlegt.

Die Regierung stoppt den Braunkohle-Tagebau nicht, obwohl  während der UN-Klimakonferenz in Paris 2015 COP21 entsprechende Vereinbarungen getroffen wurden. Stattdessen unterstützt die Exekutive (Polizei) die RWE bei ihrem Vorhaben, indem sie das Wald-Camp einer Aktivistengruppe stürmte und zerstörte. Aktivisten werden mit Schlagstöcken und Pfefferspray angegriffen und verhaftet.
Ziemlich genau die gleiche Situation wie in Standing Rock!

Die Erweiterung des Tagebaus vernichtet nicht nur Natur, sie gefährdet auch die Anwohner, die verbleiben, indem die Grenzen der Grube gefährlich nahe an die Dörfer heran reichen. Daraus resultiert eine vorhersehbare Traumatisierung der Bevölkerung durch hohe Lärm- und Staubbelastung sowie eine Gefährdung durch möglich Abrutschungen an den Rändern der Grube.

Die Proteste gehen schon sehr lange, seit 2012, aber da wir in Deutschland alle NATIVES sind, alle "First Nations", gibt es keinen großen Aufschrei. in den Medien wurde wenig bis nichts berichtet, das Feature des WDR3 wurde erst am 10. Nov 2016 gesendet, wo Widerstand schon fast hoffnungslos ist, die Fällarbeiten schreiten voran, jetzt in dem Moment wo ich hier sitze und schreibe.

Auch  die BRD AG wird von einem Netz des Wirtschaftswahnsinns gesteuert. Und wir Deutschen sitzen hier, fett und satt und zufrieden und kümmern uns einen Scheiß.
